hypnobirth

Birth can be a beautiful, powerful, and peaceful rite of passage. HypnoBirthing® is a childbirth education course rooted in the mind body connection. You’ll learn birthing basics, along with tools and techniques to help you cultivate an empowering and positive birth experience.

what is hypnobirthing?

For most of their lives, women have been inundated with negative stories of birth experiences. These negative stories perpetuate fear of the birthing process, leading bodies to become more tense which prohibits them from performing a normal physiological function — giving birth. It’s time to change this! Women who go through this program learn to trust that their bodies know how to bring their babies into the world.

HypnoBirthing is both a philosophy and technique that prepares a woman for an empowering and positive birth experience. The program focuses on the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of the mother, her birth partner (if applicable), and the baby. The five week course includes breathing, relaxation, visualization, meditative practice, and attention to nutrition.

  • “Emily is kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about empowering women to create a peaceful birth experience no matter what the circumstances are. The Hypnobirthing breathing and visualization techniques allowed me to stay grounded and focused during the intense moments. I also had the tools to advocate for myself and ensure I was included in all the decision-making that occurred during my birth. I was an active participant in the decision-making process when my birth plan needed to change. While I personally had special circumstances leading to a birth that was not my plan A, I still felt empowered and confident during the birth process due to the strategies and tools I learned in this course. Thank you Emily!”

  • “Emily’s approach to Hypnobirthing made me feel so much more confident in my body’s ability to birth my baby, and in my partners ability to support my experience in a way that is helpful to me and also makes him feel included in the process. The skills she taught me have already reduced my anxiety throughout pregnancy and I’m excited to have the birth I am manifesting, and having mindfulness skills to take into our parenthood journey.”

    -Leslie

  • “Working with Emily feels like being with a fairy godmother of childbirth preparation! She is so attuned both to my needs as I prepare for labor as well as my husband’s as he explores his role. She listens to where we are in our process and so smartly, effectively, and kindly helps carry us forward with concrete strategies, hands-on practice, and wise perspective. Her breadth of knowledge impresses us, and we feel like we can really rely on her guidance and wisdom. I cannot recommend her highly enough for those looking to learn, feel empowered, and laugh along the way. Thank you, Emily!!”

    -Eve

  • “HypnoBirthing with Emily has been one of the most empowering parts of my pregnancy journey. The breathing techniques, visualizations, and affirmations helped me build real confidence in myself and trust in my body. I feel much more prepared—mentally and emotionally—for birth, and I've been able to release a lot of fear and anxiety. Emily's way of explaining the material, grounding it in her own birthing experience, and offering practical tools made everything feel relatable and actionable. Her calm, encouraging presence created a space where I felt supported and truly ready for what's ahead.”

    -Beatriz

  • “I cannot recommend Emily’s hypnobirthing course enough! From the very first session, it was clear that she brings both deep expertise and a genuine passion for empowering families in their birth journeys. What truly set Emily apart was her authentic and personal testimony—she didn’t just teach the techniques; she shared her own experiences in a way that made everything feel relatable, attainable, and inspiring.

One of the things I appreciated most was how she engaged my husband in the process. She created a space where he felt not only included but actively involved, helping him understand how he could support me with confidence. Her approach transformed hypnobirthing from something I was learning on my own into a shared experience that strengthened our partnership as we prepare to welcome our baby.

Emily’s warmth, knowledge, and ability to connect with her students made this class an invaluable experience. I feel more prepared, calm, and excited for birth, and I owe so much of that to her guidance.”

Practicing the techniques shared in the class are essential to conditioning your mind and body for a calm birth.

The course is intentionally designed to be five weeks to give parents time to practice, reflect, connect with their baby, and consider their birth wishes. The goal is to prevent information overload, give you time to process and retain the information. Over the five weeks, parents gain a lot of knowledge, release their fears, and become more confident and relaxed about birth. All of this takes time to unfold!
